Participating local real estate agents and other service providers, such as real estate attorneys, home inspectors and appraisers, are also offering incentives.

Who is eligible for Buy North Quabbin Now incentives?
You are eligible for Buy North Quabbin Now incentives if you buy or build a residence that you intend to live in, including a single-family home, condominium unit or 2-4 unit owner-occupied multi-family home, in the North Quabbin Region, with financing from a participating local mortgage lender.

The program was inspired by MassHousing, the leading provider of affordable housing resources in Massachusetts.

What is the North Quabbin Region?
Scenic, accessible and affordable, the North Quabbin Region consists of 9 towns north of the Quabbin Reservoir, the largest inland body of water in Massachusetts. The 9 towns are Athol (map), Erving (map), New Salem (map), Orange (map), Petersham (map), Phillipston (map), Royalston (map), Warwick (map) and Wendell (map).
